Exception Reporting WebService

I'm trying to write an exception logging/reporting WebService.

My client application will report any unhandled exceptions to this web service.

The 'preferred' method signature would be;

[WebMethod]
public string ReportException(Exception ex, IEnumerable<AssemblyName> loadedAssemblies, SystemInfo sysInfo, string userName);

Currently, I'm forced to write a small 'wrapper' around the Exception and AssemblyName objects so that it can be passed to the web service properly. (SerializedException, and SerializedAssemblyName)

(SystemInfo is just a small class to hold the end-user's system info. OS Version/Service pack/Video card/sound card/memory/etc.)

My question is pretty simple, is there an easier way to pass these objects TO a web service? (I'm not concerned with grabbing the exception that gets raised in the web service itself.)
