Owner Draw TreeView

Hi All,

I have a simple TreeView app that I need to color out certain nodes
(draw text only). The problem is the root node (which is a normal
node) will be unwantedly colored over when expanding the colored nodes
for the first time. Does anyone know how to address the issue?

Here is my draw event handler:

private void treeView_DrawNode(object sender,
DrawTreeNodeEventArgs e)
{
TreeView tv = sender as TreeView;
Font f = tv.Font;
if (e.Node.Tag != null)
{
e.Graphics.DrawString(e.Node.Text, f,
Brushes.Turquoise, Rectangle.Inflate(e.Bounds, 4, 0));
}
else
{
e.DrawDefault = true;
}
}
