Forms ?

I created a form project and then I noticed that if I add a new form it
has a mdiparent as a selection, but this does not show up when intially
creating the project. Does anyone know why?

Also, if I create a form and then add a mdiparent form, how do I get the
mdi form to start up first.

One last question. How can I create a SDI program with a form or dialog
as its only child.

Sorry for all the questions, but I am still a bit new to C# though I
have used MFC for a number of years. If anyone could steer me to a good
tutorial on these questions I would really appreciate it. I have looked
around the Internet, but did not find any answers to my questions.

Not offhand, but it probably has something to do with how you're adding
the new form. Normally, a new form added to a project would be just like
any other, and not an MDI parent form. So there must be something about
how you're adding the form that makes VS believe you want an MDI parent
form.

Whatever form you want to be shown first, you can control that by editing
the Program.cs file, changing the form instance passed to the
Application.Run() method to be whatever form you want.

You lost me there. I don't understand what you mean by a form being a
"child" of a program. Maybe someone else will know what the question
means.
