Newsgroud Replies...Posts? *Unrelated*

I have replied to two questions from other users and neither showed
up...however my posted questions seem to go right through. I also replied
to a reply of one of my own questions and it was posted as well...am I
missing something? A few months back I didn't have this problem...

Hi Roger,

Are you using a third party forum to access the newsgroups? The best way is
to use a dedicated newsgroup client and go directly to msnews.microsoft.com.
The second best is to use Microsoft's own web portal to msnews
http://www.microsoft.com/communities...s/default.aspx.
There are quite a few web sites mirroring msnews but seeing as you don't the
signature these web sites tend to put into the message I'm guessing you
already use a newsgroup client or Microsoft's web. Make sure your newsgroup
client goes to msnews.microsoft.com though.

Searching for your name gave me 11 threads, of which several were replies to
other people's posts so your messages seem to go through fine. There may be
a few minutes delay after posting before the messages shows up though.

I'm using Windows Live Mail, and it's the same client I used earlier this
year. By default it connects to Microsoft's news server. Since I posted
the original question in this thread my other posts seem to be showing up
fine now. Thanks for responding.
