Hello!

Can anybody tell me what the main differences is between SqlExpress and SQL
Server 2005.
Or a URL where this information can be found.

You can't really compare them - it's apples and oranges. SQL Server 2005 is a
version of SQL Server; Express is an edition of SQL Server 2005 and now 2008.

Recent versions have been 6.5, 7, 2000, 2005, and 2008.
2005 and 2008 have had Express, Standard, Enterprise, and Developer
editions, each with various limitations and features enabled or disabled. The
Express versions have been free but also the most limited.

Are you looking for differences between versions, like 2005 implemented
supposr for a try/catch construct, or between editions, like Express is
limited to 2 gb data files (or something like that)?
