Displaying a portion of a image and zoom

VC
Hi

I'd like to display an imagem in a picture box, but just a portion of
it

Example (please ignore the dots, I use them to keep the alignment)

+-----------------------------------------------+
|................................................. | <--- hole Image
|................................................. |
|..........................+---------------------|
|...........................|..................... |
|...........................|..................... | <--- portion I'd
like to display
+-------------------------+--------------------+

Some case, I must display this portion with zoom

Could someone tell me if this is possible and points me to articles or
papers of how to do that?

Thanks in advance

Take a look at this site in general:

http://www.bobpowell.net

and this page in particular:

If I understand you right, I think it would be easiest to just clone a part
of
the original image.

Bitmap original; // of some kind
Bitmap pieceOfOriginal = original.Clone(startAtX, startAtY, width, height);
