Hi,
My problem seems to be simple but after reading and investigating a
little I realize it is quite complex:
I have a treeview derived control, and I want this tree view to be
shown with a background image. I tried 2 options:
1. Put the tree on a panel, set it to transparent (using the
appropriate ControlStyle - ControlStyles.SupportsTransparentBackColor
| ControlStyles.UserPaint) and put a background image on the panel.
The background image is shown, but the tree nodes became invisible
(though reacted to mouse events).
2. Override the Background image property, and put the background
image on the tree at run time, again using the
ControlStyles.UserPaint.
The result was the same.
What should I do in order to display a background image behind the
tree and still view the tree nodes?
Thank you.
