I'm working on a bit of an odd problem and thought I'd see if anyone had any
advice or input. I'm trying to create a COM object in .NET that can be
consumed by PowerBuilder. Unfortunately, the version of PowerBuilder (10.5)
cannot consume DataTables so I have to come up with an alternative.
PowerBuilder can consume delimited files and ADO recordsets but I'm not sure
which one would be more efficient, not having worked extensively with either
at any such capacity as this.
The result set could prove to be extremely large, million or more records.
Can any of you provide any input as to which may be more efficient /
practical? Also if any of you have experienced anything like this before and
had alternative solutions I'd be grateful to hear them.
Thanks much.
