How do you update a dataset

I am trying to get the database to update on change of a combobox. The
table is tblMatch and I have a simple textbox defined with:

TextBox - databindings - text: tblMatchBindingSource - Description

The description appears but the following does not write back the changes:

private void Match_SelectedIndexChanged(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
Validate();
tblMatchBindingSource.EndEdit();
tblMatchTableAdapter.Update(AccessDBDataSet.tblMat ch);

How do I commit the changes to the database.
