Crystal reports - Application server failed

Hello,
My desktop application is developed using vb.net 2005 and uses crystal
reports for .net 2005.
I am now suffering complaints from the clients that when opening report
in their machine, most of the time they get an error Application Server
failed!. And a system restart may rectify the problem for a short period.
In my development and testing machines all the reports are working fine.
How can I identify what is the exact problem and how could I rectify it?
Crystal reports creates lot of temporary files in windows temp folder
and clearing those files will not rectify the error.

Hi,

You need to catch the exception and post the Message (and the
StackTrace if possible).
Also are you using the same DB in testing than in production?

Hi Ignacio Machin,
In testing db no error found and working all the reports perfectly. When
deployed to client side computers, occasionally this error occurs and it
is throwing directly from Crystal Reports and can't able to catch a
meaningful exception.
