DataSet and XML

Hello!

I have a DataSet in Solution Explorer and here I also have a file with
extension xsd.
below this xsd file I have the following 4 files.
xx.cs, xx.Designer.cs, xx.xsc, xx.xss

If I do view code on this xsd file it displays only this
namespace ProductsMaintenance
{
partial class NorthwindDataSet
{
}
}
The same is displayed if I do display on the xx.cs file

I have been told that XML is a description for the dataset but in this case
I can't see any description for the dataset.
Actually no xml code at all except in the app.config which has nothing to do
with describing a DataSet

There must be something that I have missanderstood about DataSet and XML.

So why is not not possible to find the XMS-schema description for the
DataSet ?
