Upgrading a visual studio 2005 solution to a visual studio 2008 solution

Is there anything special you have to do to upgrade or transfer a vs2005
solution to a vs2008 solution? Or do you just open it in vs2008 and follow
some directions?

You open your solution with vs2008 and a wizard will upgrade it,
exactly the same that you did when upgrading from 2003 to 2005

Not a very pleasant solution when a company has hundreds of projects
they would like to upgrade at one time. We are trying automation but
there are problems with that we are currently working through with
Microsoft. It would been nice if there was a project upgrade tool
provided when newer versions of Visual Studio came out :)

I've written a utility called ProjectConverter that will ease the pain of
moving projects between VS2005 and VS2008. It is available as VB.Net and C#
source code at: http://home.hot.rr.com/graye/Article...tConverter.htm
