How to get DB disconnect event???

Hello

I am using an OLEDB connection for Sybase Data base. Now the question is
will there be any event fired when the DB gets disconnected or stopped? How
do we get to know this.

One simple solution would be when I go to execute any DB operation next
time it throws an exception. But is there any other better way to know it.

Thanks and Regards
