Managed DirectX 2.0 Over WIndows 2000

Hi!
I have the visual studio 2005 over windows 2000 professional. I want to
install the DirectX SDK for the framework 2.0 and the installer show a error
message about compatibility.

I can't develop DirectX application with .NET 2.0 over windows 2000?

Thanks
