I want to develop a DotNet C# Windows Application. Is it possible to
do that only with open source
software? Are there disadvantages if I use other software?

Why? The express versions are free. What is lacking in the free version
that requires an open source version? I would think that is how the question
should be raised.

In my idea there are no advantages only disadvantages.

Therefore we are probably all curious what are in your opinion the
advantages and give you then an answer.

A C# program is just a text file.

You can write it in any editor. Closed source or open source.
