Hello GS,

No, it's not released. VS 2008 Beta2 exists only and RC will be soon.
Official release will happen in February 2008 probably

..NET 3.0 exists since november 2006.
..NET 3.5 will be released with VS 2008

The *launch* is going to be in February, but the *release* should be
some time this year:

february-27th.aspx

I don't believe there will be a public release candidate - I don't have
a link for that, but it was in one of the LINQ to SQL blogs.

I suppose RC is not for the public discussion for well knowing reasons, for
us :)
let's wait the official news from MS :)

it may happens, and may not -who knows :)

Well, I'd expect Express to be available immediately, for everyone. I
don't know about retail versions of Visual Studio.
