C# has a soul mate: F# productized

Microsoft have just announced that they are going to productize the F#
programming language, placing it alongside C#:

Very cool indeed.

Can't really say I'm surprised. In fact I'd have been surprised if
they *didn't* productize it!

It'll be a great to be able to leverage .NET in building functional
applications!

Fantastic! Now how about a news group where I can ask simple questions like:

Can I shell out of the fsi prompt to do things like clear the screen, map
drives, etc.?

Looks like a very promising development. Probably will go hand in hand with
powershell for testers, network engineers, and other 'people who automate but
don't write applications but want to use .NET anyway."
