I see there is another thread named Parsing EDI/X12 in SSIS that is looking for the same thing.

Does anyone know of code to parse the X12 files into either a structure or SQL? These files have been "standards" for some time, I find it hard to believe that there isn't some open source code out. I've seen libraries priced way too high available, and Python type of libraries. Why none in .net?
