How do I get a plattform running windows 2000 to use a .net application

Hello!

Assume I have a plattform that run windows 2000. If I want to run a .net
application on this plattform I have to install a crl on this plattsform.

If I dont't want to install the visual studio on this plattform what is the
alternative to get a clr on this windows 2000 machine.

Just install the framework. See

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

(That's the x86 .NET 2.0 redistributable.)

Hi TonyJ,

You only need to install .NET Framework Redistributable:

Hope this helps,

you just need to download the .NET runtimes, available from Windows Update.
No need to install Visual Studio IDE.
