Issue of Choice

I am not sure if this is the correct forum for this, but maybe you
guys can help.

I am stuck with my employer questioning me about DotNetNuke ( new
buzz ) to write resellable business related software. I am a fan of
using strainght ASP.NET C# and AJAX because I have more control of
source, changes and quality. I am also concerned about the legal and
image issues of selling DotNetNuke.

Can someone help me by supplying some "when not use" information?
Thanks
Andrew

Hmmm, I wouldn't want to knock DotNetNuke because it
is good for what it was intended for.

When you say "business related software" my gut tells
me that requirements are going to quickly become a problem
if you are tied to DotNetNuke. I have spent my whole
career building complex research applications on the
web and know DotNetNuke would be a poor foundation
choice for what we've done.

That platform is great for creating portals and, to a
certain extent, e-commerce sites.
