Express edition creates a "Not a valid solution"

If I create a program in c# express edition, then try to open it with
the full edition I get a "not a valid solution" error. I can click on
the csproj file and everything works fine. I can even do a "clean
solution" and "build solution" with no errors, but then if I click on
the .sln file I still get the error. anybody know what to do about
this?

In the full version create a new, blank solution. Next, right click on the
solution in the solution explorer, and select add existing project. It lets
you navigate to the existing project and add it to a full version solution.
