deployment options not working

Hi

I have been trying to establish how I can allow a user to choose whether to
have a desktop or program menu shortcut for my app. I am using vs2005.

I worked out that I need to use the user interface editor and to add either
a check box or radio button option group.

For instance, if i add the radio buttons ( with the button property being
button2) with the first button saying 'Yes, install shortcuts', and the
second saying 'No, don't install shortcuts', and i make the user program
menu (in the file system setup) conditional on the button2 =1, the user
program menu should only be created if the first box is selected.

But this doesn't work for me. I have the 'always create' and 'transitive'
properties both equal to false.

I have tried various combinations but cant get this to work.

Any advice on the property values to get this deployment to work would be
appreciated.

Doug
