Dataset.WriteXml has weird behaviour

Hi,

Has anyone encountered similar problem before. I have an webpage in a
webapplication that usesDataSet .WriteXml method to write a Log file.
The page is meant to export out files in excel and allow me to
download an optional export log if need be.

The first time around, I click on the export log, everything works
like it should.
The second time i click on the same button, I receive "Access
Denied" [because a session variable currentUserId has been cleared off
the first time i clicked on the button]
I manually commented off sections of my code and noticed it happens in
2 places independently. Both of them use DataSet . WriteXml

After I comment these 2 lines out, everything returns to normal

This is weird behaviour... Does anyone else have a similar experience
or know what is causing this??
