Orcas beta issues

Hi, I've just downloaded the Orcas Express beta and it bombs on the
first step (installing the 3.5 framework). It doesn't give me a
specific error, it just calls home, tail between its legs :(

I've tried the following:

reburnt the image.
disabled AV.
Haven't got as far as "Profit"...

Any ideas?
This is an XP SP2 laptop fully patched with VS 2005 standard and the
last current express versions installed.

Aah, seems I'm not the only one experiencing issues. Good pointer, I
usually avoid the MSDN forums.

Thanks.
