Visio style flowchart line connectors

I need to create graphical objects and connect them with relationship
connectors that bind to the objects similar to Visio's connectors. (The
connector stay connected when the object is moved by the user.) I have the
objects, but I need to create the connectors. I was wondering if anyone
knows of a good example of binding connectors code that I can research. Or
even how to draw a connect line as part of a user control.

Any help is appreciated.

Have you considered Visio Automation?

I haven't. I've tried to use MS Office SDKs in the past and it always seems
to carry with it licensing issues. This application needs to be able to
stand alone and not require my client to install additional software to
support it.

Any other ideas?

Thanks,

Rob

No, I don't have any other ideas, sorry. I did some Visio automation before
the 2003 version came out (it has macro record, which would have helped a
lot!). The client must have Visio installed.

Good luck.

Rob,

Strongly suggest you post a message to :
microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.drawing

Things like this have been discussed there, and people like Bob Powell and
Frank Hileman there are real experts.

That's not to imply you will find an easy solution to this problem domain.

best, Bill Woodruff
