WebService Security!!

I need to create a WS, that can be called by users who call it with a SSL
Certificate a userID and password...Can someone tell me or point to resource
how to accomplish it?
Also can I have individual certs for different users?

Thanks

You'll want to have a look at the Web Services Enhancements add-on to ASP.NET
Web Services.

Get further info on WSE for ASP.NET 2.0 here:
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-gb/web.../aa740663.aspx

I'm not sure about the certificate thing, I've never used them. I've built a
number of WS's using the WSE and stuck to username & password for security.
