Panel AutoSize not working right

I have a panel set to autosize. Inside it I have a custom label, which
changes the height (using measure string) based on the length of the string.
(i.e. the label autosizes vertically) this label is anchored top, left and
right.

The panel is docked to the top.

When form the panel is on is resized by width, the text will resize if it's
needed, which will cause the panel to autosize verically, since it's set to
autosize.

When resized slowly, this works perfect, however if you quickly resize the
window, the label will resize itself, but the panel it's on that should
autosize itself somehow skips this process.

how can i get around this? please help!!!
