hi

Hi all ,

i am using a third party dll to connect to HP9000 database and access
data.

Its was working fine for few days.

Suddenly now it is raising an exception as:

Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an
indication that other memory is corrupt .

The application is done in windows forms C#.net 2.0.

Is this a bug in 2.0. or a result of having both 1.1 and 2.0 versions
in same system or something else.......

Can any one help me how to sort out....

What did the supplier / vendor of the 3rd-party DLL say when you contacted
them...?

Without seeing the stack trace of the exception, it's hard to say. I am
hesitant to say it is a bug, and I can tell you it is not the result of
having 1.1 and 2.0 on the same system. The framework is designed in such a
way that having different versions on the same system will not interfere
with each other.

Hi,

First of all I suggest you to provide a more descriptive subject, I though
it was spam, it was just cause I was not paying attention than I opened the
msg :)

Who is throwing the exception? the dll?
Is it a .net dll or a unmanged one?
