Murach's C# 2005

I am currently reading Murach's C# 2005. I find the first two sections not
worth the cost considering I am experienced C/C++/Java programmer. Is there a
book that delves into the C#/.NET without talking about trivial things like
operators and all that?

Even as an experienced C# dev, I found this to be a great read by Mark
Michaelis !

Professional C# from Wrox is good for people with experience
in C++ or Java - IMHO.

He has a new version of his C# book out, that has some added info on .Net
3.0. I've read about half of it (leisure-time reading ;-). So far, so good.
Not for the faint of heart, though -- not for a real beginner, more for
someone who's programmed in C or C++.
