Hi Guys,
Does anyone know of a good, easy to use multiplayer framework? We
need computers to sync up with each other only over a local area
network in real time, pretty much like a multiplayer game like
quake3. We tried using groove and it is really slow (like 5 seconds
for a computer to receive data). I assume we would want UDP multicast
over the LAN, and so far I have played with RakNet (which looks
great). Does anyone know if RakNet is any good, or of any other good
products? I see WCF can bind to NetPeerTcp, but that doesn't look
well suited for our local area network application. Thanks guys -- I
am new at peer networking and appreciate any help.
