Framework versions

Hello C# NewsGroup. I was wondering, is there a newer version of .NET
Framework than 2.0? I've been hearing some things about 3.0 and I think
it's way too soon to release another version =)

Yes, .NET 3.0 is out.
Read about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microso..._Framework_3.0
And C# 3.0 here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C_Sharp...guage_features

The V3 Framework version is available through "Windows Update".

3.0 is out but it is not a full upgrade like 2.0 meaning
that the need to update will depend on whether you need
WCF, WPF etc.. Well - on the other side - why not upgrade.
