Trolling

Way off topic, I know but I was wondering.
I haven't visited these groups for over a year now and have just returned.
When I last left I didn't note the trolling as anywhere near as bad as i've
seen it in the past couple of days.

My question is:

a) Has the trolling got worse recently?
b) Has it always been this bad and did I just not notice it in the first
place?

Its not usually very bad here - thres only a few regular idiots, I think
you've just not really noticed it before?

There's only one individual, I believe, posting under a few different
names. Hopefully they'll get bored soon.

It has gotten worse recently. Most of it is from one person using
multiple identities.

Is not that bad, one or two messages at the most on a daily base. I have
been here around for a while and there had been worse times

I do honestly hope it keeps like this

I remember it used to be worse. I think most have realized how nice .net
is.

It's just one lonely guy. He was here a few weeks ago, posted a dozen
messages and went away. Now he's back. I feel sorry for him. He's
pathetic.

I'm not sure. I kill-file such offenders, so I only see them one or two
times before they're gone, never to return...

I've added a suggestion to the Google Groups Suggestions discussion
that they add some sort of killfile facility. Others here who use
Google Groups may want to head over and add their voices. Hey... maybe
Todo Menos Un Cerebro could head over there too, and demonstrate why
it would be useful....

I actually reported him to googlemail.com back when he was flaming the VB
group with racist profanity as aaronkempf. Not that it did me much good,
but it did make me feel better. :-D
