System.Xml and Memory Management

Hello,

I have a question about handling Xml files and the memory management.
If I manage the file like this:

XmlNodeList nl = doc.SelectNodes("frequency");

foreach (XmlNode node in nl)
{
//...
}

I guess the whole Xml file is stored as object in the main memory.
Is there a Xml model to manage the files line by line without storing
the whole file in memory? (SAX-Model instead of DOM-Model)
Regards,
Martin

SAX is push.

In .NET you can use System.Xml.XmlTextReader for pull.

If you really like SAX go to http://saxdotnet.sourceforge.net/ !
