Restrict files on Local or Network PCS

Hi ,is there any way one can restrict users to copy files with
extensions that we dont want on our networks or local pcs. Users are
local administrators of their pcs.

PS. If this is not possible using GPO etc, is there an external
software that would work for this case. Please advise as we are having
huge issues.
Thanks

Not trying to be rude, but what does this have to do with C#?

By the way, just because you struck a nerve when you said that your
users were "local administrators", I was a network administrator for
over ten years running both Windows and *nix servers before I switched
exclusively to software development. In that time, I learned that
giving a user local administrator rights was wrong and horribly insecure
in 99.9% of the situations. Any time I ever ran across it in a
production environment, it was to make up for a lazy IT department that
didn't want to be bothered with installing applications or performing
routine maintenance on users machines. Even on my own PC's at home, I
always had two separate accounts. One for normal day-to-day use and
another with Administrator privileges.

Hey Sean, no you not being rude. I guess i posted this on the wrong
forum. anyway, the reason for local admin is not because we are lazy
here, we have 1000 users in our call centre. the reason for local
admin is because our current telephone system for the call centre wont
work if they are not an admin of the local pc. shweet anyway

Nope. Local admin can do anything on the local pc.
