data from remote computer

Hi,

I would like to get information from remote computer. I can't use Wmi
because I don't have the rights on every computers connected to the
network. I use Netbios protocol to know computer name and Mac
address.
Do you know other solutions ?

I don't know. I think that windows firewall is activate or all
services for a good operation is not activate. I can't check my
assumption

Sounds like you need to speak to your system admin or as you say check your
settings. This is a permissions issue.

The only time you'd ever need information of a remote computer you don't
have actual access permissions to is hacking, and thats not what your trying
to do is it ;)
