UK Regulatory Capture

P: n/a
Regulatory Capture is when regulators do no more than the bidding of those
they supposed to regulate. Victims of regulatory capture include Nick
Hardwick and John Wadham of the Independent Police Complaints Commission,
and Mr. Rafael Runco, Deputy Independent Housing Ombudsman.

We should remind the families of Jean Charles de Menezes and Frederick
Nichols, that insults and abuse they received from Nick Hardwick and Rafael
Runco were the result of regulatory capture, and it is the poor Nick
Hardwick and Rafael Runco who are the victims, not the late Jean Charles de
Menezes nor Frederick Nichols.

We should remind these families that calling the practice of insulting and
abusing victims of murderers "Runcking," will be punished, for it insults
the hard working victims of Regulatory Capture.

I propose an annual day when we British remember the victims of Regulatory
Capture, called National Lying Hypocrites Day, celebrated each year, on the
first Thursday of May.

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you,
then they fight you, then you win. Mohandas Gandhi
