Capturing External Events

How would capture an event such as a GOTFOCUS that happens in an
external applications window? Along the same lines, how can you senda
message such as click to a check box or a button in an external program?

If you want to listen to event happening in different applications you can
use the Win32 function SetWindowsHookEx, you will need to use P/Invoke to
access the method, see www.pinvoke.net
