Registering MMC PropertySheet Extension

Hello, does anyone know if there is a known bug registering an extension for
MMC 2.0 (or above)?

I'm referring to the msdn article on
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa815158.aspx to register a new
PropertySheet extension for Users object on Active Directory Users and
Computers snap-in. but the snap in fails to detect the extension when adding
it from MMC. This worked in the past on MMC 2.0 on some of the XP SP2
Machines we had.

The following entries are added to the registey after installutil'ing the dll:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MMC\NodeType s\
{BF967ABA-0DE6-11D0-A285-00AA003049E2}\
Extensions\
ContextMenu
{the random newguid prefixed by "FX:"} =
REG_SZ "My extension name"
