Document creation

Hello i have some general questions on document creation/editing.

First of what i need to implement:

>From a bunch of data i have to present some document (word/rtf...) to

the customer that can be modified from him. He must be able to
underline, change fonts, italic/bold and such basic formatic things and
of course change the text. The ducument is up to 60 pages big.
This ducument needs to be saved/loaded and printed.
For printing i have to add page-header/footers which include some
company-logo, date of printing and pagenumbers.

My question:
How would you implement this?
Using Word requires word to be installed of course.
Also i'd like to know if i use word, if i can implement the solution in
a way that i am not forced to use some specific version of word?

Implementing it by myself i could use a richttextbox right?
How complex is it to implement such basic formating functions and more
over how hard is it to implement the printing (logos, and page-numers).

Any suggestions/demos would be very welcome
