I'm no expert. But, I investigated all of these recently. Dundas was
way too expensive. Unless you need some special feature that only they
have, it seems crazy to use it. ChartFX was too expensive, also, if I
remember correctly. I tried the ChartFX trial and it seemed like a
difficult object model to understand. ChartDirector looked great for
the price, but I needed Compact Framework support, also. I decided on
Steema. I could do a lot more with the free version than most other
free versions out there, including scrolling and zooming. For a lot of
people, the free version is probably all they need. The reasonably
priced full version includes the ASP.NET and compact framework support,
also. I've been using it for several weeks now on both the PC and CE
platforms.

I am about to purchase a chart control for my application but I am not sure
which one to go with. Does anyone have any pros/cons for either component?
I have already tried both and they seem very similar but there is only so
much I can test before I need to purchase.
