Isolated Storage - Problem with GetMachineStoreForAssembly

I need to place a file in Isolated Storage with machine level
scope i.e independent of the user. I have used the
'GetMachineStoreForAssembly' method of the IsolatedStorage file class to try
to achieve this. I can successfully create a file and read content back from
this file. However, when I log onto the same machine under a different user
profile and run the code to read the same file in Isolated Storage, I
encounter an error because the file can't be found. I am confused because the
file should be user-independent as the method name implies. I am using the
same asssembly to read the value. Can anyone help me find a solution to this
problem or suggest where I'm going wrong? Thanks.
