Hello,
I've created and deployed a class library as a DLL. The system which
embedded the
DLL informed me that an exception is being thrown from one of it's
method. The stack trace
property of the exception is not cotaning the symbols inside my DLL.
I've tried compiling the DLL again with debug info, and deploying the
PDB file with it - but still no inner symbols.
The DLL I've deployed is signed, and located in the GAC, so I asked the
embedding system
to add the PDB file using the Modules window. But as I've mentioned,
even after this being done, the Exception didn't contain any of my DLL
symbols.
Is PDB enough for getting the inner Stack Trance?
Is it any different when the DLL is located in the GAC?
Alot of thanks in advance,
Satya.
