do you know how to get the ESN from a specific handheld?

I've seen varying results on CDMA devices, but performing a P/Invoke against
lineGetGeneralInfo[1] is a good place to start. In particular, the
dwSerialNumberOffset member of the LINEGENERALINFO[2] structure. You may
need to P/Invoke related functions, IIRC.

If this approach fails, you may wish to reach out to the hardware OEM.

I'd like to know if I can use the libraries below (Tapi) with MS VC#
2003 development?

I was looking on it, and they support only MS VC# 2005 (If I'm not
wrong).

Hi Marcelo,

You should be able to wrap those libraries in .NET CF 1.0 and .NET CF 2.0.
You might want to look for either Alex Feinman's TAPI Wrapper or the
OpenNETCF Telephony Library 1.0 (beta)
