web form: populating one listview dependent on value selected in another

Hi All,

I have a c# web form that has two listviews on it. Both currently
retrieve their list entries from two separate tables in an SQLServer
backend. I've been asked to make the values in the listview on the
right dependent on the value selected in the listview on the left.

Given my PHP background, I would normally have used Javascript to
achieve this, but I don't know if that's the best (or even a possible)
way of achieving the same thing in c#.

If anyone could point me in the right direction to getting this done,
I'd be very appreciative!

Much warmth,

pt
