How to access files in a remote system

Hi all,
I want to connect to a system remotely in .net and also i need to
access the files in the remote system. Can any body help me.

Is there any issue if you simply use UNC drive path to open a file.

Something like :

File.OpenRead(@"\\ComputerName\$C\temp.txt");
