opening a .NET form from vb6 cancels the Tab navigation

i have a .net dll which i refference from VB6.

i open a .net form from the vb code
and somehow the tab order is messed up
(doesnt work at all)

tried to listen to the windows' key down messages and it didnt recieve any..

once i opened the form with "ShowDialog()" the Tabs Order worked..

any one got a clue?
