I have 2 editions from my employer - developers edition and standard
edition. Neither of them work with vs2003 on this machine. My work
notebook has the same config (xp pro, vs2005 team, sql2005 developers) and
has no problem with the integration to vs2005.
I simply like to know how to make the project information show up in vs2005
new project menu. Do i need to install one product before the other - or is
it an automatic thing that doesnt need that?

What SQL Server 2005 edition you have. All these does not include in SQL
Server 2005 Express edition. When you install SQL Server do you select
those services?

>Hi
I have installed vs2005 and sqlserver 2005 but I cannot see the option to
use reporting services when i start a new project.
I dont see the analysis, intergration or reporting services on the spash
screen when is start vs2005 either. On my PC at work, i see business
intelligence projects as a project type in the new project menu but i
seem to have lost it from my recent rebuild.
sorry if this is not the right group - but I asked this question in
another group and while waiting have installed both products again with
no joy.
Thanks for you assitance
Doug
