How To - Programmatically Create DL In Exchange GAL?

P: n/a
We have a website with hundreds of users. The users have each
registered with their email addresses and other information, and these
are stored in a Microsoft SQL Server database. The user accounts in the
website are not in Active Directory, as the website uses Forms
Authentication.

We need to be able to query the MS SQL server database for all email
addresses and then programmatically (C#) create a distribution list
entry in our Microsoft Exchange Server Global Address List.

I have no problem in querying the email addresses, but I have no ideas
on how to programmatically interface with the GAL in Exchange. Also, so
far I have found only one example of how to do this, and it wasn't
useful because it was very difficult to understand and didn't work.

Can anyone provide any pointers on how to proceed? Any examples or
links would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
