NAnt delete task fails on network share

I have an NAnt script that gets launched by CruiseControl whenever
someone checks a file from the project into our CVS repository.

The first step after the checkout is to clean the project's bin
directory and delete the compiled DLLs. However when the delete task is
run I get this error..

clean:
[delete] Deleting 45 files.
BUILD FAILED
F:\XXXX\X.build(105,4):
Cannot delete file 'F:\XXX\XXX.dll'.
Invalid File or Directory attributes value.

Has anyone seen this error before?

The user has full rights to the directory it is trying to delete from
and can delete the file from Windows Explorer.
