retrive xml attachment

hi,

i'm developing an application that will be capable of retrive an email
from a pop server and retrieve the attachments of each mail message. I
can so this of any type of file except text files an xml files. This
kind of files doesn't appear in the attachment list. Why?

If they don't appear how can I retrieve a xml or text file attachment?
This is really important for the future of this application. I don't
whant to force my users to send only zip files to me or zip only the
xml file...

It's got to be a way.

Let me know if i'm not clear of this subject. I really need your help
guys.
Thanks in advance for your attention,

"Attachment List?" "appear?"

An email that has attachements has attachments in it. Why you are not able
to access them is a mystery because you didn't mention *how* you are trying
to fetch, open, and get the attachments out of them. All you have given us
is high-level requirements. We have no idea what class(es) you used, how you
used them, or anything else that might help us make a diagnosis.
